CLOTHING IN INDIA
Clothing in india varies from region to region depending on
the geography ,climate and culture traditions of the people of the region. India have great diversity in terms of
weaves,fiber,colours,and material of clothing.
Colours codes are
followed in colthing based on the region and ritual concerned. For
instance,HINDU ladies wear white dresses ti indicate mourning,while Christians
wear white to wedding .
Indian use linen clothing ,made from flax from the
trees,about which I have already spoken.they have a linene frok reaching down
knee and ankle. A variety of wearning techniques were employed in ancient india
,many of which srvive to the present day . Famous among these weaving styles the Jamdani ,Kasika vastra of
Varansi.
WOMEN’S CLOTHS IN INDIA
In india , women’s clothing varies widely and is closly associated
with the LOCAL CULTURE ,REGIONAND CLIMATE . Traditions india clothing in North
and East are SARIS ,GHAGRACHOLI and LEHENGAS
While south women wear SARI and children wear PATTU
LANGA .
Bindi is a part of women’s make up . INDO-WESTRUN CLOTHING
is the fusion of Westrun fashion . Chuidar ,Duppata ,Khara Dupatta,
Gamchha,Kurta ,Mundum Nriyathum ,Sherwani are among other cloths .

SAREE
A saree is a female garment in the india . A sari is a
unsitched cloths.it is about 4 to 9 meters long
and are of different styles. There are many styles in sarees :
Sambalpuri Saree form EAST ,Paithani,Banarsiand many more.

GHAGRA CHOLI
A ghagra choli is a tradiotional clothing
of women in india .women wear ghagra choli in Rajistan and Gujrat . Punjabis
also wear then and they are used some of them in their fork dresses. Ghagra in
an other word is called Lehanga is is a long skirt . choli is a blouse shell
garment , which is cut to fit to the body and has short sleeves.different
styles of ghagra choli was wear by the women
in Indi. Popular among unmarried women other than shalwar kameez are
Gagra choli and Langa vori.

SHALWAR KAMEEZ (INDIA)
Shalwar kameez is a traditional wear of
women in PUNJAB, HARYANA and HIMACHAL PRADESH .
shalwar kameez is the most famous dress that women wear in INDIA mostly
in Punjab. It cosist of a narrow at the ankels , topped by a tunic top (the
kameez) . it named as “PUNJABI SUIT” .

Sherwani,Lungi,Kurta and, Dhoti or Pajama. Pant and shirt is alsoo

SHERWANI
A sherwani is a long coat jacket that
sports uasally sports exposed button through the length of the placket . the
length is below the knees and the jacket ends around high on the calf. The jacket has a
Nehru collar which is caller that
stand up.
PANT SHIRT
Mostly mens in india wear paint and shirt .
they are paint shirt when they want to go in a party or in a bussiness meeting.
Dastar
The dastar is a turban worn by the Sikh .
it is a symbol of faith . dastar has invloed in different style from the
incient India
